COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — The University of Maryland is honoring four school police officers who saved an infant’s life during a football game in October.

The officers will be given awards during the school’s football game Saturday at Byrd Stadium.

The officers were all involved in caring for an infant who was reported unresponsive in the stadium in October. One of the officers began CPR before emergency medical technicians arrived and took the infant to a nearby hospital.

The infant was able to make a full recovery and is expected to be at the award ceremony.

    Congrats to you MR Policeman,
Thanks to you maybe this precious life you saved will one day be a policeman too. It was nice for once to see a article that had good things to say about cops.
both you officers & the Fire Dept deserve a LOT more money & respect than you get.
