4 Univ. Of Md. Police Officers Honored For Saving Infant

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- The University of Maryland is honoring four school police officers who saved an infant's life during a football game in October.

The officers will be given awards during the school's football game Saturday at Byrd Stadium.

The officers were all involved in caring for an infant who was reported unresponsive in the stadium in October. One of the officers began CPR before emergency medical technicians arrived and took the infant to a nearby hospital.

The infant was able to make a full recovery and is expected to be at the award ceremony.
