Md. School Bus Wreck Leaves 10 With Minor Injuries

CLARKSBURG, Md. (AP) -- A Montgomery County fire official says nine students and an adult have suffered minor injuries in a school bus accident in the Clarksburg area.

Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham says the accident was reported about 9 a.m. Wednesday, and happened at the intersection of Stringtown Road and Route 355. Graham says the students and the unidentified adult suffered minor injuries.

County police Officer Janelle Smith says the bus left the road and struck a tree after it was hit by the mirror of a school bus traveling in the opposite direction. Smith says the other bus was empty except for the driver, who was not injured.
