Man Charged In Slaying Of Woman Found On Md. Farm

CENTREVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A homeless Eastern Shore man has been charged in the slaying of a woman whose body was found on a farm.

Leroy Nathaniel Wilson Jr. was charged Thursday in Queen Anne's County District Court with three counts of first-degree murder, carjacking and robbery in the death of Lindsey Nichole Crispino, 28, of Denton. State's Attorney Lance Richardson says the three murder counts are based on three theories of how the murder developed.

Crispino's body was found last week on a farm near Centreville. Authorities say Wilson was arrested in Mississippi two days later when he crashed Crispino's car while trying to elude a sobriety checkpoint.

Wilson is being held without bond in the Queen Anne's County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 2 in district court.
