Md. Child Porn Suspect Faces Federal Arraignment

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A registered sex offender found living in a Frederick motel room with four computers faces arraignment on a federal charge of possessing child pornography.

Robert Ingram is due Friday morning in U.S. District Court in Baltimore.

The Justice Department took over the case in April after state police arrested Ingram in March at the Red Horse Comfort Inn.

An Internet address provided by Pennsylvania authorities led police to the motel. They say Ingram acknowledged using the motel's free wireless Internet service to download child porn. Police say an external hard drive found in Ingram's room contained 12,500 pornography files, including images of children as young as 5.

Ingram pleaded guilty in 2006 to third-degree sex offense.
