Group Sought For Western Md. Getaway Reality Show

MCHENRY, Md. (AP) -- If you're dreaming of a family vacation at Deep Creek Lake that you wouldn't mind sharing with millions of television viewers, this story is for you.

The sponsors of a PBS reality show called "Getting Away Together" say they're looking for a group or family to spend six days vacationing in far western Maryland with cameras rolling.

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce is taking submissions through Sunday from groups who must explain why they're unique and why they need to get away together.

The winners will get free use of a luxury rental home September 6-14.

Sponsors say the program will document the group or family playing, dining and relaxing while sharing their story with the world.
