BLOG: Wild Weekend In College Park
The University of Maryland found their replacement for Gary Williams. It didn't take long, but I don't think Terps fans are exactly thrilled about it. His name is Mark Turgeon, and he was formally the coach at Texas A & M. The good news is he's taken A&M to the NCAA Tournament the last four years. The bad news is he doesn't bring that flashy hire that Sean Miller, Jay Wright, Mike Brey, or Jamie Dixon would have. Is it a good hire? I like it but I would've rather have gotten Arizona coach Sean Miller.
