Man Charged In Salisbury Nightclub Shooting

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a Salisbury, Md. nightclub employee has been charged in the weekend shooting of two people outside the establishment.

Darian Harold Makle, 25, was arrested Monday and has been charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, handgun on person and handgun possession with a felony conviction.

Police say they were called to Gully’s nightclub on Roland Street early Saturday morning. According to charging documents, officers found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Salisbury police Lt. Rob Kemp says Makle worked at Gully’s but was off the clock at the time of the shooting.
