WASHINGTON (AP) — Three Baltimore County police officers are being honored at the 18th annual Top Cops awards.

The ceremony is being held Thursday at the Warner Theatre in Washington.

Officers Michael Forish, Michael Lynch and Zachary Small are being honored for rescuing a man who is paralyzed from the waist down from a burning home in October.

Baltimore County police say that in addition to the Top Cops award ceremony, the officers are expected to visit the White House and meet President Barack Obama.
