Last night the Baltimore Orioles lost to the New York Yankees 4-1 in 15 innings. It was a game where the O’s couldn’t seem to hit Bartolo Colon early, then forced Mariano Rivera into a blown save, but couldn’t capitalize on base runners later and ended up with the loss. Really though, who didn’t see this coming? Ive watched this type of game (though not the 15 inning variety) play out over the years. Luke Scott couldn’t make contact with a runner on 3rd and one out. Felix Pie missed a homer by inches. You know Buck Showalter was desperate late because he had to go to Michael Gonzalez. One pitch later the game was essentially over. Well go get ’em tonight boys!!
