Baltimore MVA Moving To Park Heights
BALTIMORE (AP) -- After four decades at Mondawmin Mall, the Motor Vehicle Administration office is moving.
The office will close its doors Friday afternoon and reopen Monday morning in the new location about three miles northwest at the Hilltop Shopping Center on Reisterstown Road.
MVA spokesman Buel Young says officials wanted to keep a presence in the city and the new office will be a part of the revitalization of the Park Heights community.
The new location will feature more parking than the former location and it will still be accessible by public transportation.
It will be the MVA's first location with a 24-hour self-service kiosk where customers can renew vehicle registrations.
