PARKTON, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police say a man robbed the Exxon station in the 300-block of Mount Carmel Road at around 3:35 a.m. Saturday.

A police officer saw the suspect speeding away from the location. They later found the car overturned in a field on Mount Carmel Road near Cedar Grove Road. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

Later in the morning, at 10:40, police got a report of a carjacking at 2015 Mount Carmel Road near a church. No one was injured in the carjacking. The car was later found abandoned at 14 Mount Carmel Road.

Officers believe the same person may be responsible for both incidents. The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, 6’1″, with a shaved head. It is believed he has a silver semi-automatic handgun.

If you see someone fitting the suspect description call police immediately and do not approach the suspect.
