Asian Population In Washington Region Goes Up

WASHINGTON (AP) — Four out of 10 Asian Americans live on the West Coast, but the Washington region has become a hub for Asians on the East Coast.

According to a Washington Post analysis of census figures, the number of Asians in the region has grown 60 percent over the past decade to 570,000.

Chinese are most prevalent in the District and in Montgomery County. Filipinos are the largest group in Prince George’s and Charles Counties. Indians have been moving to Loudoun and Fairfax Counties and have become the largest and fastest-growing group of Asians in the area. Meanwhile, Koreans are the largest group in Centreville, where 26 percent of the population is Asian.

I have Asian neighbors…they’re smart, and hard working. Most are doctors and engineers. People who make a difference and drive the country forward. I say bring more of them in and get rid of the hispanics. Asians are at least trying to be American citizens the legal way.

MC,….Asians by nature are one of the most racist groups ever. They may be industrious & aggressive but they have little or no morals outside of their own families. Never trust anybody who eats RAT for dinner & sleeps fifty to a house. They never assimilate with the general population. Perhaps after a few generations, the younger ones will be more congenial
