Zakaria To Speak At Johns Hopkins Commencement

BALTIMORE (AP) — Commentator Fareed Zakaria will speak at commencement ceremonies at Johns Hopkins University.

Zakaria will also receive an honorary degree Thursday along with David Simon, a writer and producer for NBC’s “Homicide: Life on the Streets,” and HBO’s “The Wire” and “Treme.”

More than 6,600 degrees, certificates and diplomas are expected to be handed out, including nearly 4,000 master’s degrees and about 1,600 bachelor’s degrees.
