Firefighter Suffers Minor Burns In Apartment Fire

BALTIMORE (AP) — A fire department spokesman says a firefighter suffered minor burns while fighting an apartment fire in Baltimore.

Capt. Roman Clark says firefighters were called to the two-story apartment building in the 1600-block of North Hilton shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday because of a fire in the basement unit.

The fire was brought under control but two occupants of the building were injured. One was taken to a hospital, while the other refused transport.

Clark says the firefighter was taken to Bayview Burn Center and was reportedly in stable condition.

Prayers for the firefighter that he has a quick recovery. He couldn’t be in a better place for treatment. They didn’t give your name, but thank you just the same for the service you rendered to the citizens of Baltimore!
