Firefighter Suffers Minor Burns In Apartment Fire
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A fire department spokesman says a firefighter suffered minor burns while fighting an apartment fire in Baltimore.
Capt. Roman Clark says firefighters were called to the two-story apartment building in the 1600-block of North Hilton shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday because of a fire in the basement unit.
The fire was brought under control but two occupants of the building were injured. One was taken to a hospital, while the other refused transport.
Clark says the firefighter was taken to Bayview Burn Center and was reportedly in stable condition.
