Pugh To Announce Decision On Mayor’s Race

BALTIMORE (AP) —  State Sen. Catherine Pugh will announce her decision on whether to run for mayor next week.

Pugh, who currently represents the 40th District in Annapolis, will make the announcement at Leonard E. Hicks Multipurpose Community Center on North Avenue on Monday.

Pugh has been raising money as a candidate for Baltimore mayor, but has said before that she was undecided on whether to run.

An invitation for a June 21 event at Gertrude’s at the Baltimore Museum of Art announces “An Evening Reception Honoring Senator Catherine E. Pugh, Candidate for Baltimore City Mayor.” Tickets range from $250 for a general guest to $4,000.
