Crews Recover Body Of Missing Swimmer

BROOKEVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Rescue crews have recovered the body of a swimmer who drowned in the Tridelphia Reservoir in Montgomery County.

Police say the body of Bruce Yansen, 21, of Olney was found Tuesday morning.

According to police, Yansen was one of three people swimming in the reservoir Friday evening when the water level dropped off.

Police say Yansen panicked and went under the water. Another swimmer tried to save him but was unsuccessful.

Swimming is prohibited in the reservoir.

Yansen's death remains under investigation and an autopsy will be conducted.
