Ocean City Air Show To Close Area To Boating

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — Maryland Natural Resources Police say boating won’t be allowed in a 30-block area off Ocean City this weekend during an annual air show.

The area runs from Talbot Street north to 27th Street, and from the beach out 3,300 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. Boats are also prohibited from anchoring within 1,800 feet of the north and south borders of the closed area. The closures are in effect Friday through Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Natural Resources Police say the area will be clearly marked with colored buoys and patrolled to keep recreational boaters outside the boundaries.
