24 Arrested At Weekend Phish Concerts In Maryland

COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- Two dozen people were arrested over the weekend at a pair of Phish concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Howard County Police say they seized marijuana, hashish, ecstasy, nitrous oxide and methamphetamine. Officers also seized more than $2,000 in cash and three vehicles containing drugs.

The jam-band played at the Columbia venue on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Twenty-one of the arrests were drug-related, while the three others were for disorderly conduct and trespassing. Police say they also issued 22 alcohol citations.
