Human Remains Found Along Western Md. Highway

CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Allegany County say they are working to identify some skeletal human remains found near a Park-and-Ride lot along U.S. 220 near Cumberland.

The county Bureau of Police says the remains were found Tuesday evening by a motorist whose car broke down.

Police say the bones of a fully clothed male were nearly obscured by some trees and brush just off the roadway.
