Visitors To Archives Can Honor Reagan With Diaries

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The National Archives and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is offering children a chance to imagine a day in the White House and create their own presidential diaries.

The "Your Day as President" family event runs Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. As part of a celebration of what would have been Reagan's 100th birthday, one of his personal diaries will be on display through July 5.

The personalized diary entries that families create at the Archives will be shared with former first lady Nancy Reagan.
