Man In Razor Attack To Get Drug Treatment

ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- A judge has approved a request from a man serving a prison term for cutting an acquaintance to be transferred to a drug rehab facility.

Ethan Younce, 22, has served about two and a half years of a 10-year term for cutting a man whom he believed hid drugs in his rectum in 2008.

Retired Cecil County Circuit Judge O. Robert Lidums granted Younce's request after Younce was evaluated by state caseworkers. Younce will be transferred to a facility when a bed becomes available.

Younce pleaded guilty in May 2009 to first-degree assault in the attack.
