Westminster To Flush Fire Hydrants

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Westminster, Md., officials are warning residents that they may experience discolored water while several fire hydrants are flushed this week.

The city said in a release that hydrants in various parts of the city are scheduled to be flushed beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The flushing is expected to last through Wednesday.

Public water system customers could see discolored water during that time, and are advised to draw water for consumption before 8 p.m.
