Woman Admits To Identity Theft

BALTIMORE (AP) --  A Baltimore woman has pleaded guilty to stealing personal information from residents and employees of assisted living facilities and opening fraudulent accounts.

Phyllis Wilson, 39, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. She will be sentenced in September.

According to her plea agreement, Wilson worked at four assisted living facilities between 2004 and 2009. She stole credit cards, checkbooks and personnel records and used the information to open fraudulent accounts and to take over existing accounts.

Prosecutors say the losses totaled more than $120,000.
