ATF Investigating Church Fire In East Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--An East Baltimore church was in flames Sunday morning.
The fire broke out around 4:15 a.m. in the 2900 block of East Oliver Street.
Shortly after fire officials arrived on the scene, the fire was contained to one side of the building and placed under control.
But because the building is a church, officials are taking extra precaution—and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is assisting in the investigation.
The building was vacant at the time of the fire and there were no injuries to either civilians or firefighters.
