Boy Hit By Truck While Skating In Easton

EASTON, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a 10-year-old boy has been struck by a truck while inline skating in Easton over the weekend.

The Star Democrat of Easton reports that the accident happened at Washington and Goldsborough streets on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say the boy rolled off a sidewalk and into the path of a pickup truck that was heading south on Washington Street.

Police say the 64-year-old driver of the truck was not at fault.

The boy's condition was not immediately available.
