City Police Investigating Armed Robbery In Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– WJZ is following a developing story out of Northeast Baltimore, where police are investigating what appears to be a violent armed robbery attempt.

Homicide detectives responded to a shopping center in the 3900 block of Erdman Avenue just before 3:00 Tuesday afternoon. That’s where they found a delivery driver suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police say it appears the victim was making a delivery to one of the stores when the gunman tried to rob him.

The suspect in the case is still on the loose.

Police say they’re now looking for witnesses to the shooting, hoping to track down the gunman.

The victim was reportedly taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
