Md. Gas Prices Lower Than Nation’s Average

 

WASHINGTON (AP) — Travelers taking the car somewhere this holiday weekend will find gas prices in Virginia and Maryland at or below the national average.

 

Nationwide the average price for a gallon of regular gas is $3.56, the exact same as the average price in Maryland. The average price in Virginia is a little less at $3.42.

 

Gas is more expensive in the District of Columbia, where a gallon of regular currently costs $3.87.
