Man Accused Of Threatening To Burn Woman’s Home

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — A Hagerstown man has been charged with threatening to burn the home of a female acquaintance.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says Saturday’s arrest of 29-year-old Jeromy Sweigert stemmed from a domestic dispute.

Sweigert has been charged with threatening arson.

Court records show he’s also been charged with first- and second-degree assault. He was being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $40,000 bond.
