They are hiring the next class of felons.

Since a large percentage of former officers are currently incarcerated, positions have become available for replacements. In addition to an attractive starting salary, the Life Insurance benefits are excellent; which is good, since it is garranteed that your family will need to use them.

My nephew tried very hard to become a Baltimore City Police Officer and went through all the proper channels….passed all the tests and never heard anything…..he would have been a great asset to the city…..too bad they missed out on a good one!

Geez Baltimore dont just start now. Dont let a shooting and a stabbing in the harbor will you into hiring more officers. Many neighborhoods, and residents have been getting mugged, stabbed, dirt biked to death for a while now. Just never makes the news. Sad that it takes a 4 year old getting shot in the leg to hire more officers. Maybe you can send one over to 420 Orchard Mews Apartments sometime. Lots of “thugs” as bealefeld puts it for you to take off the streets. You can do this anytime you get around to it. My fingers are bleeding from dialing 911 and 311 so much every day.

I wonder if they will have the same RACIST biasis for canidates like the Fire Department does. Because OMalley feels that certain races are not as smart or skilled as white Americans. The test was purposely made extremely easy, plus “bonus” scores given only to certain “non-white” applicants.

Bottom line, is YOUR life worth the skill of the least qualified. Or do YOU want YOUR life, YOUR Children protected by those who actually EARN their place. Not “given” a reserved space to fill quota’s.

Its true, but we will see if this comment gets deleted to hide the truth.

Over 50% of the BPD is made up of minorities… >_>

  6. Steve Hampton says:

Im surprised OMalley doesnt give these jobs to ILLEGAL Immigrants. No doubt a % WILL be “reserved” for “Hispanics” to continue OMalleys support for ILLEGAL Immigration and OMalleys failure to enforce the LAW designed to protect Americans.

  7. Wheres common sense when you need it says:

Yes, please apply in person so we can test you, hire you, train you, and give you a salary with benefits. In return, you can put your life on the line everyday only for us to cut you salary, deminish your benefits and use you as the scape goat for all of our poor financial decision making skills up here in city hall. Thank you and have a nice day.
Mayor, City Counsell and City Police Chief.
