BLOG: Mark Reynolds
I know Matt Wieters is the Baltimore Orioles lone all star, and he deserves it. I just want to bring some attention to the guy on the team that is swinging a hot bat right now. Mark Reynolds hit two more home runs last night to give him 20 on the season. He also committed another error which gives him 20 of those as well (but I'm here to talk offense). OK; the batting average is less than good and he strikes out a ton. He also walks a lot and he is not Adam Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, or Nick Markakis as the teams power bat. Last week people were telling me Reynolds should be batting cleanup and I thought it was crazy. I may be starting to warm up to the thought.
