Mikulski To Announce Grant To Help Veterans
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Sen. Barbara Mikulski is announcing $1.1 million in federal grants to help veterans in Frederick and surrounding counties find jobs.
The senator will attend an event Tuesday at the Way Station of Frederick.
The grants come from the U.S. Labor Department. They will enable the Way Station of Frederick to help veterans find jobs or services such as job training, mentoring and mental health services.
