BLOG: Orioles Woes Continue In Boston
Well, just when we thought there may be a slight chance the Orioles trouble would be left in Texas, they continued in Boston at Fenway Park last night where the O's got a lickin' from the now first-place Boston Red Sox. Baltimore starter Jake Arrieta was once again not able to go five innings, a definite no-no against a tough Boston lineup. But reliever Pedro Viola was the story last night, giving up back-to-back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning last night to seal the Orioles' fate and hand them a depressing 10-4 loss. The Orioles have now lost nine of their last 10 games and have been outscored 40-15 in the last four games -- three in Texas and last night's debauchery.
Who's to blame? Somebody at this point needs to be held accountable...
