Heavy Rain Floods Frederick Streets

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Police in Frederick say several intersections are closed due to flooding caused by heavy rain.

The agency said at 4 p.m. Friday that sections of several streets remain closed; others have reopened after earlier closures.

The closures are West Patrick Street at West Frederick Middle School; West 2nd Street at College Avenue; East Church Street at Highland Avenue; Rosemont Avenue at Grant Place, North East Street at East 14th St and Market Street at Shifferstadt Road.
