Phillips To Detail Inner Harbor Plans

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Phillips Seafood plans to detail its Inner Harbor plans at a meeting with city officials next week.

The seafood restaurant announced earlier this year that it was closing its longtime Inner Harbor location in the Light Street Pavilion at Harborplace. The presentation on exterior renovations Thursday before the Urban Design and Architecture Review Panel confirms reports that Phillips plans to move across the Inner Harbor to the Power Plant complex.

The seafood restaurant is one of the last original Harborplace tenants. The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. has announced it will take over the longtime Phillips location.

The ESPN Zone closed at the Power Plant last June after 12 years when its owner, the Walt Disney Co., announced several ESPN locations would close because of the economy.
