Man Burned In Pa. Garage Fire Dies In Md.
WELLSVILLE, Pa. (AP) -- A central Pennsylvania man badly burned in a garage fire last week has died at a Maryland hospital.
Pennsylvania State Police say Phillip Showalter, 50, died Monday at the Johns Hopkins Burn Center in Baltimore. Showalter was injured when he tried to enter the burning garage at his Warrington Township, York County home on July 5.
Trooper Tom Pinkerton says an autopsy will be performed later this week.
Investigators have not determined what caused the blaze.
