The Orioles have virtually no shot of going .500 this year. They'd have to go 45-29 down the stretch. That would even better than Buck's pace last year when they went 34-23. So, here's what I want to see. Matusz return and get his velocity back. Tillman get back to the majors. Arrieta develop some consistency. Markakis regain some legitimate power, manifesting itself in doubles and homers. Roberts return healthy and be a presence at the top of the line-up. Reynolds cut down on his errors so he's not a tremendous liability in the field. Those are the kinds of developments that give you some hope with these players moving forward next year.
