Left fielder Luke Scott, who was eligible to come of the disabled list today, is still dealing with a sore right shoulder. Scott said he was only 70% healthy and therefore will be shut down for the next few days. Scott has a big decision ahead of him and that his whether or not he should have season-ending surgery. According to Buck Showalter, if Luke waits to have surgery, it may affect next season. In my opinion, the last thing the Orioles need is a key player in the lineup injured to start the season. The O’s will need to be at full strength next year if they want to avoid an early-season slump… think 2010. Does 2-16 ring a bell?

Do you think Luke should have surgery now, especially since the 2011 season is a wash?
