Would-Be Carjackers Thwarted By Stick Shift
LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police say two men who tried to carjack a vehicle ran off when they found out the car had a stick shift.
A man was talking with acquaintances early Tuesday at the Exxon on Camp Meade Road in Linthicum when two masked men, one with a gun, tried to take his car.
But the suspects ran off when the man said his 2005 Volkswagen has a stick shift.
