BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland health officials say three people died from heat-related conditions last week.

The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said Tuesday that the three victims were a Baltimore woman age 65 or older; a Somerset County man between the ages of 45 and 64; and a Prince George’s County man between the ages of 45 and 64.

All three had underlying health conditions.

The department says nine people have died of heat-related illness this year.

  1. How Statistical says:

Gotta love the way that they catagorize the deaths. Over 65 years of age. Between 45 and 65 years of age. I hope that when I die, they dont carve the words: “Over 65 years of age” on my tombstone.
I don’t mean to sound harsh, but coudn’t the reporter find the names of the deceased? I realize that it would have taken another 10 minutes, perhaps.
