BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Tuesday is the day football fans have been waiting for.  After a long lockout, players are finally ready to play again.  Meghan McCorkell talked to fans.

We’ve been all over town Tuesday and the one thing everyone is talking about is Ravens football.

All around town, Ravens fans are ready for some football.

“I am overly excited about it,” said one.

“It’s a huge part of our profit for the year,” said Dan Rather.

He’s glad the countdown to kickoff is now official.

The Purple Power also brings more business to Poor Boys in Dundalk.

“We’re definitely happy about it,” said Michael Tyson.

With a winning look, now fans are hoping for a winning season.

“I think we’re going to do good,” said one.

Everyone is very excited for the Pittsburgh game.  It all starts September 11.
