BLOG: Meanwhile...J.J. Hardy!
The Baltimore Ravens took the field yesterday for their first practice. The NFL is now the focus of most sports fans in Baltimore. So I know most of you aren't paying attention but JJ Hardy is continuing to have a hell of a season for the perpetually crummy Baltimore Orioles. Two more home runs last night. 18 on the season. If he can stay healthy (which has been a concern in the past) it looks like the Orioles were shrewd to sign him. Now if only Buck Showalter can find a few more of those nuggets he likes to talk about. One things for sure, there aren't a lot of them on this roster.
