The good news is Friday night, the Baltimore Orioles finally beat the New York Yankees. The bad news is what came after. Saturday at Yankee stadium was another in a long line of embarrassing moments for this franchise over the past 14 years. A doubleheader that ended with two Yankee blowouts. The second of which had once promising starter Zach Britton getting run before getting out of the first inning. A small silver lining is that the O’s pulled the trigger on a couple of deals. They traded Derek Lee to Pittsburgh for a minor league first baseman. The bigger deal was the trade of Koji Uehara to the Texas Rangers for Tommy Hunter and Chris Davis. Time to turn the page and move forward.
