Police: Teen Without License Involved In Fatal Anne Arundel Co. Crash

CROFTON, Md. (WJZ) -- Police say a teen driving without a license is under investigation for her involvement in a deadly accident.

Anne Arundel County Police say a teen with her learner's permit took a relative's car without permission.  Police say a short time later she was involved in a fatal crash.

The accident happened on Route 3 and Davidsonville Road in Crofton.

A 63-year-old man died when his car was struck by Elizabeth Ramirez. Ramirez and her passenger were treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital.

It's unclear which driver caused the crash.  Detectives are examining whether either vehicle ran a red light.

Police don't think drugs or alcohol were a factor.
