Councilman Charged With Failing To File Tax Return

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — An Anne Arundel County councilman has been charged in federal court with failing to file a tax return. Daryl D. Jones, a Democrat, was charged in U.S. District Court on Tuesday.

Court records say the Severn resident received gross income of $244,365 in 2005 and failed to file a tax return before April 17, 2006.

Jones could not immediately be reached by telephone for comment, and he did not immediately return an email seeking comment.

Jones, who is an attorney, is serving on the council in his second term, which expires in 2014.

A politician in trouble with the law? Now there is a shocker.
    Scandal du jour.
An attorney who gets convicted of failure to file a tax return is nearly always disbarred.

Another Brother in politics who just failed to do what all others are supposed to do. Then he has the numchucks to say it won’t interfere in his duties as Councilman.

The FBI and DEA fabricate evidence, steal from suspects and use murder to close their bad cases.
Several FBI and DEA in the San Francisco Bay Area where supplying drugs that had been stolen from evidence vaults to gangs for resale. To maximize profit, evidence was mostly stolen from cases involving suspects that had payed bribes.

Must be one of Charlie Rangel’s students. All he will get is a slap on the hand.

Pamela August 25, 2011 I’ve msised reading your blog! I was on vacation! I definitely want to try the oats in a jar.. what a way to anticipate the end of a peanut butter jar! LOLIn response to your question, I always make my own concoctions.. that’s the most fun thing to do in the kitchen! And I was thinking, when you were listing out your ingredients (which, your breakfast burrito sounds like something totally yummy and very familiar to something I would make) I was thinking of Migas . You should try it sometime, I think it’s Mexican, and you use up leftover tortillas or even tortilla chips with eggs and other ingredients for breakfast.. it’s really good!
