DOVER, Del. (AP) — Dover police say a man wanted in connection with a homicide in Maryland has been arrested.

Dover Police Capt. Tim Stump says police on Sunday executed a search warrant on Frederick Walls’ apartment on Persimmon Tree Lane. Wells was taken into custody on outstanding warrants charging him with murder. Walls was wanted in connection with a homicide investigation being conducted by Maryland State Police and the Wicomico County Sherriff’s office.

Police say Walls was also charged with drug-related offenses after marijuana was found inside the apartment. He was arrested without incident and committed to the Vaughn Correction Center on $4,000 cash bond on the drug charges

Walls is awaiting extradition back to Maryland. It is not clear if he has an attorney.
