Maryland Woman Injured In Jersey Shore Fall
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (AP) -- Police say a Maryland woman is in critical condition after she apparently jumped from a third-floor balcony in the town where MTV's "Jersey Shore" program is filmed.
Seaside Heights police say the 27-year-old, whose name wasn't released, landed on the sidewalk Wednesday.
Detective Steve Korman told the Asbury Park Press witnesses said the Elkton, Md., resident was sitting on the balcony railing and pushed herself off.
The woman was staying with a friend at the apartment complex.
