CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police have charged two brothers with attempted murder after a confrontation with police in which an officer was shot.

Police identified the suspects late Thursday as 23-year-old Borntruth Booker and his 22-year-old brother, Khalil Booker.

Police say officers encountered the Bookers after getting a report of an armed man Wednesday night in the Capitol Heights area.
