Orioles Send LHP Hendrickson To Triple-A
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Baltimore Orioles have optioned left-hander Mark Hendrickson to Triple-A Norfolk, opening a roster spot for pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes.
Reyes joined the Orioles on Wednesday. Baltimore claimed the left-handed starter off waivers from Toronto on Monday.
Hendrickson, 37, went 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA in seven relief appearances with Baltimore after a July 9 promotion from Norfolk.
Reyes, 26, was 5-8 with a 5.40 ERA in 20 starts with Toronto. He is 10-23 with a 6.04 ERA in 61 career games in the majors.
